Історія та пам’ять у цифрову добу: чеський досвід

Центр досліджень визвольного руху та чеська організація Gulag.cz запрошують долучатися до онлайн-воркшопу «Історія та пам’ять у цифрову добу: чеський досвід».

Чеські експерти розкажуть про свій досвід роботи з цифровими інструментами для проектів, пов’язаних з історією та пам’яттю про минуле. 

Також учасники семінару поговорять про архіви ŠtB (чеський аналог КҐБ): порядок доступу до цих документів у Чехії та їх потенціал для цифрових проектів.

Cпікери: 

  • Штепан Черноушек — чеський дослідник, голова Асоціації Gulag.cz та керівник чеського відділення Міжнародного товариства «Меморіал». Штепан Черноушек насамперед спеціалізується на російських студіях. На семінарі Штепан представить діяльність Асоціації Gulag.cz та реалізовані проєкти, такі як експедиції до Сибіру, ​​віртуальний музей ГУЛАГу тощо.
  • Олександра Скорвід — магістр української філології. Олександра виступає координатором освітніх проектів в Асоціації Gulag.cz. Її презентація буде присвячена розробці інноваційного освітнього інструменту, який покликаний збільшити знання про табори ГУЛАГ серед молоді в Європі та Росії. Для Асоціації Gulag.cz зараз цей проєкт є основним.
  • Ян Блажек — координатор міжнародної співпраці чеської ГО Post Bellum, журналіст, дипломат. Ян представить діяльність Post Bellum, що документує спогади свідків про важливі історичні явища ХХ століття. З 2019 року сестринська організація Post Bellum діє в Україні. 
  • Андрей Новік — методист освітніх програм, який співпрацює з великою кількістю чеських організацій, у тому числі Post Bellum, Scio та Gulag.cz. Андрій розповість глядачам про основні освітні проекти, що існують в Чехії на даний момент. Він розповість про те, як в них використовуються сучасні технології; його презентація також включатиме деякі практичні завдання для аудиторії.

Модеруватиме Радомир Мокрик — історик, науковий співробітник Інституту східноєвропейських студій філософського факультету Карлового університету в Празі.

History and Memory in the Digital Age: Czech Experience

The Center for Research on the Liberation Movement (Ukraine) and Gulag.cz (Czech Republic) invite to join the online workshop on the best practices of digital projects in the field of memory — «History and Memory in the Digital Age: Czech Experience».

Czech experts will share their experience of using digital tools for projects in the field of history and memory of the past.

The workshop’s participants will also talk about documents from the StB archives: the procedure for accessing these documents in the Czech Republic and their potential for digital projects.

Speakers:

  • Stepan Cernousek is a Czech researcher, Chairman of Gulag.cz Association and Head of the Czech branch of the International Memorial Society. Stepan Cernousek primarily specializes in Russian studies. At the seminar, Stepan will present the activities of the Gulag.cz Association and its implemented projects, such as expeditions to Siberia, virtual museum of the Gulag, and so on.
  • Alexandra Skorvid holds a Master’s degree in Ukrainian Philology. Currently, she works as a coordinator of educational projects in the Gulag.cz Association. Alexandra’s presentation will be devoted to the development of an innovative educational tool which is designed to increase knowledge about the Gulag camps among young people in Europe and in Russia. For the Gulag.cz Association, this project is currently the main one.
  • Jan Blazek will present the activities of the Czech non-governmental organization Post Bellum which documents  witnesses´  memories of important historical phenomena of the 20th century. From 2019, Post Bellum´s sister organisation is also active in Ukraine. In Post Bellum, Jan holds the position of the International cooperation coordinator. Previously, Jan worked as journalist and diplomat.
  • Andrej Novik is a methodologist of educational programs who works with a large number of Czech organizations, including Post Bellum, Scio, and Gulag.cz. Andrej will tell the audience about the main educational projects that exist in the Czech Republic at the moment. He will talk about how modern technologies are used in them; his presentation will also include some practical tasks for the audience.

Moderator: Radomyr Mokryk — historian, researcher at the Institute of Eastern European Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University in Prague.
